18650 lithium battery suggestion

Hi,

Could someone please suggest a specific lithium battery that works well for the Adeept Smart Car Robot Kit for Raspberry Pi?

I see this requirement in the pdf tutorial:

18650 lithium battery is required for normal operation of the robot, and the current output is above 4A.

Since 2 batteries are required for this robot does this mean that combined they need to have an output above 4A? Or does this mean that each battery needs to have an output above 4A?

I bought 4 cells from Amazon incl charger, they work very well, also used old cells from two USB battery banks, work well and I have 4 Samsung Q30, also great. I think all of them work well. If you want to be on the safe side, buy Sony, Samsung, LG. Either on eBay or you can get them from vaping shops.

It is recommended to buy 18650 batteries, you can find them on Amazon

Hi recently purchased the rasptank I have tried this tank on three other 18650 batteries but none of these work other than the factory batteries can anyone recommend a specific battery for this tank thank you

What might happen is 2 different kinds of 18650: with and without protection circuit. With protection circuit, the 18650 is 4 to 6mm longer, this wears out the battery holder and after a while they do no longer make a good connection.
