Got this for my kid---yeah, he is grown (in his twenties) and he works at Michelin---he had/is having a ball with it. Amusing to put together and fun to adapt to do things other than what it is intended to do, if you have the know-how to do it .Great kids item and beyond for the 'bigger kids'.

This kit is a great learning tool for kids/teenagers just getting into building robots and programming. Nephew loved building this with me.

My nephew loves arduino kits etc, so I got this for him. He managed to figure it out and build it with a little guidance from me.

The instructions aren't great. The code examples are terrible... But I'm an electrical engineer who works embedded software regularly, so maybe I'm judging harshly.

This is a really cool item if you are interested in learning about microcontrollers. Just be sure NOT to assemble this item until you have done the first 10 lessons. The zip file that you have to download from the website for this product is missing the very first set of code. I had to download the zip file for the 4WD toy to get the code. Also one of the libraries fails to install. I emailed support but didn't heard back. The instructions are written very well. I just wish it gave more detail on what the code is doing. I used AI to explain the code to me. Overall is a great item mainly for older teenagers and adults. I would recommend this product.
